Welcome to the website https ://www.nantesbeaujoire.com belonging to the Persévérance company which manages a multi-service tourist residence in the immediate vicinity of the Nantes Exhibition Centre (La Beaujoire).

We are fully aware that our relationship is based on trust, and this privacy policy relating to the use of your personal data is in line with this.

In the same way that our team is at your disposal to give special care and attention to each of your requests, we attach particular importance, in our capacity as data controller, to the respect of your private life, the protection of your personal data and the exercise of your rights.

We therefore invite you to read this privacy policy carefully.

The purpose of this policy is to present you with the principles concerning the protection of personal data as implemented by Persévérance following the modification of the French Data Protection Act n°7817 of 6 January 1978 by the European General Data Protection Regulation which came into force on 25 May 2018 (RGPD).

 

I/ TO MAKE IT EASIER TO UNDERSTAND THE PRINCIPLES, WE WOULD LIKE TO REMIND YOU OF A FEW CONCEPTS:

personal data: any information which, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier, such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier, or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of a natural person, makes it possible to identify that person
processing: any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction
controller: natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing,
processor: natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

 

II/ WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT :

2.1. Direct collection: data that you give us directly:

When you register, you communicate information about yourself and your family through the registration form to Perseverance.

The information that we are likely to collect is as follows

  • in the context of our activities as a Tourist Residence (booking a room, registration and payment, stay at the residence and services offered as part of the stay, consumption at the bar, requests, complaints / disputes):
    your title, surname, first name ;
    your contact details (postal address, telephone number, email);
    your date of birth, age, nationality;
    information about your children (surname, first name, date of birth, nationality);
    your credit card number (for booking and transaction purposes);
    information contained in an identity document (identity card, passport);
    your arrival and departure dates;
    your preferences and interests (e.g. room with bath or shower, preferred floor etc);
    your employer if the booking is made for business purposes;
    your profession (collect business card);

 

  • in the context of our seminar activities:
    your contact details (e.g. name, surname, telephone number, email) ;
    your credit card number, (for transaction and booking purposes).

  • In the context of our commercial activities with our partners / suppliers:
    title, surname, first name ;
    business details (address, direct telephone number, business email);

2.2 Indirect collection: data about you that we collect indirectly:

Transmission of information from third parties:
Booking intermediaries (tour operators, travel agencies (online or offline), booking systems by online booking platforms,
Loyalty programmes to which the customer has subscribed,
your employer if he has booked your trip, and other third parties to which the customer has made use.

 

Transmission of data when browsing the site:
your IP address or other browsing data,
Deposit of cookies, some of which are necessary for the operation of the site, and others for analysis purposes.

III/ PRINCIPLES APPLICABLE TO THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA :

The legislation relating to the protection of personal data lays down the main principles that Perseverance undertakes to respect:

 

3.1. the lawfulness of processing:

We undertake to collect, to use fairly, in a lawful and transparent manner, the data that you entrust to us.

The legal bases on which we may process your data are as follows

prior consent for specific processing has been obtained (for example: ticking the box to receive the newsletter),
processing is necessary for the performance of a contract (e.g. managing your stay)
the processing is necessary to respect a legal obligation to which Persévérance is subject (keeping of invoices),
the processing is necessary to safeguard the vital interests of a person,
the processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by Perseverance (promoting its services, carrying out direct marketing actions (taking into account your commercial relationship with Perseverance) and improving its services.

 

3.2. the relevance and proportionality of the information collected:

This information is necessary, adequate, relevant and not excessive in relation to the purpose of the processing set out below.

 

 

IV/ WHAT IS THE PURPOSE OF THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW LONG IS IT KEPT?

 

The information collected is used for the management of tourist stays and seminars at the hotel residence and more specifically

To manage the booking of rooms and accommodation requests, in particular to prepare and retain legal documents in accordance with accounting standards. To fulfil our obligations to our customers.

10 years from the date of booking, in accordance with our legal obligations.

To manage your stay at the residence:

– Management of access to the rooms

For the duration of your stay.

Manage our relationship with our customers before, during and after your stay:

Qualification of the customer database
Segmentation operations based on your booking history and travel habits in order to send targeted communications (*),
Forecasting and anticipation of future customer behaviour
Establishment of statistics and commercial scores and reporting actions
Knowing and managing the preferences of loyal and non-loyal customers
To send you newsletters, promotions and offers for tourism, hotels or services or offers from partners or to contact you by telephone, in accordance with the obligations arising from the European ePrivacy Directive.

To improve our hotel service, including :

Personalising your welcome to the residence, improving the quality of service and the customer experience
Processing your personal data in our customer marketing programme, in order to carry out marketing, brand promotion and to gain a better understanding of your needs and wishes
tailor our products and services to best meet your needs
To personalise commercial offers and relational messages to you.
To inform you of special offers and any new service created by Perseverance or one of its partners.

3 years from the date you were last active with us in any way.

 

To carry out cross-checks, analyses and combinations via a trusted third party of your data collected during the reservation or your stay, in order to determine your centres of interest, your customer profile and to enable us to send you personalised offers.
3 years from the date you were last active with us in any way.

To improve services including:

Conducting research and analysis of customer questionnaires and feedback
Managing complaints

To provide you with the benefits of our loyalty programme.

3 years from the date you were last active with us in any way.

To secure and improve your use of the website including

Improving navigation
Support and maintenance, and
Implementing security and fraud prevention measures.
12 months from the date of collection of the information.

Securing goods and people and fighting against non-payment and internal management of a list of clients who have behaved inappropriately during their stay at the residence (aggression and incivility, non-compliance with the hotel services contract, non-compliance with security rules, theft, damage and vandalism or payment incidents).
3 years from the date on which you were last active with us in any way.

Use the services necessary to trace the identity of persons present in the establishment in the event of serious events affecting the establishment concerned.
For the duration of the event and for 30 days for images collected by surveillance cameras.

 

V/ WHO HAS ACCESS TO YOUR DATA?

Within Persévérance, only the employees of the reception/reservation department and the accounting department process all your data.

Certain members of the management and of the management committee have access to the data collected by the surveillance cameras as well as the company SECURITAS, a subcontractor, within the framework of the use of the panic button.

Among the subcontractors of Perseverance, VA SOLUTIONS, a telephone operator, processes data relating to telephony and wifi on behalf of Perseverance, as well as the channel manager who centralises the reservations made on online reservation sites and transfers them to Perseverance’s internal reservation platform.

Both our subcontractors and ourselves ensure the security, integrity and confidentiality of your data.

 

VI/ WHAT ARE YOUR RIGHTS?

In accordance with the regulations, you have various rights: you may at any time request access, rectification, deletion and portability of your personal data, or restrict or object to the processing thereof.

Right of access to your data: right to receive a copy of your data,

Right of rectification: the right to ask us to rectify, complete or update your data when you cannot do so yourself,

Right to deletion or erasure: the right to ask us to delete your data,

Right to restrict processing: the right to ask us to restrict the processing of your data. This right can only be exercised in certain circumstances (e.g. if you dispute the accuracy of the data),

Right to data portability: the right to retrieve the data you have entrusted to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format and/or to transmit this data to a third party,

Right to object to processing: right to object at any time during the processing of your data but only in certain situations.

Perseverance reserves the right to modify its privacy policy according to the evolution of the legislation.
